Gerald Samplonius Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Tetje Samplonius and Willem Samplonius; and his grandson Benjamin Samplonius. He is survived by: his wife Wilma Samplonius (Vellenga); his children, Brenda Kumagai (Dave), Patricia Croeze (Eric), Evelyn Samplonius, William Samplonius (Lena), Christine Clement, Josephine Kroesbergen (Marvin), Andy Samplonius (Sheilaugh) and Pake; and his grandchildren, Pake, Andy Samplonius (Sheilaugh), Josephine Kroesbergen (Marvin), Christine Clement, William Samplonius (Lena), Evelyn Samplonius, Patricia Croeze (Eric) and Brenda Kumagai (Dave).

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dennings Funeral Homes (32 Metcalfe St W, Strathroy, ON N7G 1M6). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the East Christian Reformed Church (476 Metcalfe St E, Strathroy, ON N7G1R5). A burial will be held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at the Strathroy Cemetery (585 Metcalfe St W, Strathroy, ON N7G3H2).
