He is survived by: his wife Mary Derks; his children, Anne Marie Derks (Joe Roth), Albert Derks (Mariette), Frances Howe (Rick), Gerald Derks (Ruth) and Carolin Derks; his brother Peter Derks (Thera); and his siblings-in-law, Betty Derks, Nellie De Wit (Case), Betsie Blummel, Jo Geenen (Ad), Annie Van Den Heuvel, Leo Van Den (Adriana), Antoon Van Der Burgt (Rens), Huub Van Den (Anja) and Frans Van Den (Hanna).
