She was predeceased by: her spouse Grant "Stub" Thompson; her child Jean Watson; her grandchild Darryl Westgate; and her siblings, Donald Hill, Russell Hill and Gladys Jarmain.

She is survived by: her children, Don Thompson (Marj), Terry Thompson (Sherrie), Judy Westgate (Leonard), Ross Thompson (Sonia), Mary Thompson, Roy Thompson (Bev King), Susan Thompson, Barb Carter (Lew) and Anne Thompson Wambua (Paul); her grandchildren, Tracy Zemmelink (Rich), Paul Thompson (Gemma), Cody Thompson, Debbie Paquette, Amy English (Patrick), Adam Thompson (Leanne), Kal Watson (Natalie), Galen Watson (Cathy), Tyler Thompson, Rayleen Butt (Adrian), Mackenzie Carter and Ezell Wambua; and her sibling-in-law Jean Hill. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
