He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Pranger and Connie Pranger; and his sister Jacqueline Bylsma. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer; his children, Josina, Elijah, Caleb (Ayva), Simeon (Anna), Avelina, Rachel, Levi, Natalie, Yvonne and Ivy; his siblings, Helen Pranger, Harry (Wendy Pranger), David (Marilyn Pranger), Kathleen (Len Burke), Susan (Shaine Isaac) and Paul Pranger (Stephanie); his in-laws, Caroline, Michael Hillier, Miriam, Doug Bonvanie, Pauline and Wilson McInnes; and his parents-in-law, Ineke Dijkhuizen and Iede Reckman. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Strathroy Cemetery (585 Metcalfe St W, Strathroy, ON N7G1R7). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Providence United Reformed Church (447 Second St, Strathroy, ON N7G3H8).
The funeral will also be at Providence URC on September 24th at 11 a.m. Those wishing to remember Jack with a donation may make a contribution to The Harvest Foundation.
