Joan Evangeline Westgate Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on April 8, 2026, Joan Evangeline Westgate (Strathroy, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her sister Betts; her niece Florence (Robert) of Calgary; her cousin Chris Longmuir of Scotland; her aunt Betty Westgate; her cousins, Bonnie Merkley (Barry), Dorothy Goldrick (Bruce), Jim Lyons (Dolline), Jerry Westgate (Joan), Wayne Westgate (Shelley), Nancy Burns (Gord), Darlene Elliot (Dave) and Blair Murray (Liz); and her husband Blake Westgate.

In honour of Joan's memory, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Joan would also be deeply touched by donations made to the Ronald McDonald House in honour and memory of a special young boy she held close to her heart, Mateo Delgado Kelly.
