He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward and Clara Thyret; his brother-in-law William Bastian; and also Scotty. He is survived by: his wife Sue Maes-Thyret; his daughters, Andrea Beth Kidd (Ken), Tricia Thyret and Karen Thyret; his stepchildren, Jason Viaene (Carol), Angela McHardy (Dan) and Andrea Brown; his grandchildren, Cameron, Ryan Kidd, Emily, Kate, Ben Viaene, Maggie, Charlie, Nora McHardy, John, Braden Brown and Matt; his sister Carol Anne Bastian; and his children, William Bastian, Cathy Horton and Chris Louth.
