He was predeceased by: his wife Saapke. He is survived by: his children, Eno Vander Til (Rita), Hilda Sipkens (John), Florence Lindeboom (John), Cathy Hiemstra (Rick), Janet Saarloos (Graham), Grace DeBoer (Mike) and Emily O'Donnell (Dale); and his stepchildren, Christine Faber (Albert), Ben Schrik (Marian) and Ann Miedema (Leo). He is also survived by his 28 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren.
