He was predeceased by: his spouse Fatima Da Mota. He is survived by: his children, Joe Da Mota (Lourdes) and Josie Azevedo (Luis); his great grandchild Tyson Melo; his sister Maria Rosarinha Pereira; and his sister-in-law Maria Joana. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
