It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Peter Podgornik (Strathroy, Ontario), who passed away on January 17, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his child Carmen McMath. He is survived by: his wife Mauricette; his son Christopher Podgornik (Jennifer Mercer); his granddaughters, Jessica McMath, Alyssa McMath, Julia Podgornik and Olivia Podgornik; and his sisters, Maria Podgornik, Theresa Debeljak and Olga Zigon. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
