He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Earl and Rena Thompson; his godmother Betty Anne Ferreira; his uncle Larry Thompson; and his cousin Douglas White.

He is survived by: his fiancé Summer Boyko; his children, Joshua, Hailey, Alyssa, Austin, Aiyanna, Domanic, Marcus, Jaxon and Natalie; his parents, John Thomson and Irene Thompson; his siblings, Alicia Thompson (Greg Giles), Ashley Thompson (Travis Hryhorak), John Jr. Thompson (Patricia), Amy Thompson and Amanda Myles; and his grandparents, Gordon and Olivia McLean. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, his great-niece, extended family and bazillion friends.
