She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Samuel McCandless of Strathroy and Ruth Patricia McCandless Hanson (Parker) of Hamilton; and her mother-in-law Evelyne Shirley. She is survived by: her aunt Clara McCandless Thomas; and her cousins, Stephen Thomas, Mary Attfield and Tyler Thomas.
