With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martina Schuurman (Strathroy, Ontario), who passed away on November 19, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Ralph Schuurman; and her siblings, Henny, Riet and Leen. She is survived by : her children, Ron Schuurman (Brenda), Lydia Gorter (Rod) and Ingrid Kern (Paul); her grandchildren, Tyler (Caleigh), Kelsey (Ken), Nathan (Shena), Michael (Kari), Matthew (Aziel), Daniel (Imani), Elona, Ruslan, Karissa, Omama, Esther, Reuben, Charlotte, Abijah, Xiomara, Ben and Alex; and her siblings, Jo and Henk. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Martina's name to Word and Deed in St. Thomas.
