He is survived by: his spouse Cidaliza Paiva; his children, Nick Paiva (Lucie), Lisa Paiva-Walz (Chris) and Diane Thompson (Darren); his grandchildren, Eric Paiva, Audrey Paiva and Danika Thompson; and his siblings, Jose Domingos Paiva, Virginia Pimentel, Teresa Sousa, Silvana Paiva, Filipe Paiva, Antonio Paiva, Manuel Paiva, Gabriel Paiva and John Paiva.
