He is survived by: his parents, Robert Thompson and Mabel Thompson; his wife Jessie Thompson; his sister-in-law Marion Savage; his children, Paul Buckingham (Leighanne) and Jane Matthies; his grandchildren, Lindsay Rivard (Jonathan) and Mark Buckingham; and his great grandchild Maggie Rivard.
