He was predeceased by: his brother Herb Parkinson; his parents, Neil Parkinson and Eva Parkinson; and his brothers-in-law, Doug Girard, Ron Hudson and Ralph Shaddock.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Parkinson (Hughes); his daughters, Mary Ann (Rick) and Valerie (Tim); his grandchildren, Britt, Josh, Kalli and Lily; his sisters, Laura Hudson and Marie Girard; and his sister-in-law Catherine Shaddock. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Denning Funeral Homes - Strathroy (32 Metcalfe St W, Strathroy, ON N7G 1M6). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
