He was predeceased by: his daughter Kelly Ann. He is survived by: his spouse Patsy Gooding; his children, Tracy Ready (Joey) and Buddy Gooding (Tiffany); his siblings, Ruth Kramer of North Carolina, Elsie Parrish (Gerry) of North Carolina, Marshall Gooding Roger (Kaye) of North Carolina, Gooding Heath of North Carolina and Tammy Heath (Tommy) of North Carolina; and his friend Shannon Stanley. He is also survived by several Sister-in-laws, Brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Donations to the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
