He is survived by: his wife Rachel; his siblings, Grant MacDonald (Lauren) and Hillary Van Spronsen (Kevin); his brother-in-law Hugh Getliffe; his siblings' children, Amanda Getliffe, Morgan Getliffe (Andrew Soudant), Ava, James MacDonald, Claire and Owen Van Spronsen; and his stepmother Sharanne MacDonald.
