He is survived by: his spouse Margot Sauer; his children, Virginia Clark (late Bill), Roland Sauer (Marilyn), Frank Sauer, Anita Sauer (Wendy), Sonja Dibsdale (Dan), Harold Sauer (Jackie) and Rob Sauer (Tiffany); and his sibling Lisa Niegch (late Heinz).
