He was predeceased by: his children, Carol and Dickie; and his sibling Dick. He is survived by: his spouse Lydia DeRuiter; his children, Marlene Duister (Bert), Sandra Chung (Wing) and Dan (Megumi); his grandchildren, Robin (Allen), Derrick, Tina (Jeff), Rachel, Andrew (Patti) and Daisy; his great grandchild Easton; and his sibling Lawrence (Nancy).
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Strathroy Community Christian School or the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
