He was predeceased by : his daughter-in-law Mary Lou Crandon; his granddaughter Stacey Eves; his brother Clare Crandon; and his parents, Reginald Crandon and Francis Crandon.

He is survived by : his children, Ron Crandon (Judy), Bob Crandon (Nancy), Mike Crandon (Loriann Danbrook), Nancy Eves (Art) and Lynn Crandon; and his close friends, Norman, Eva, Gerry and Darlene Thuss. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Strathroy Legion Branch #116.
