He was predeceased by: his parent George Gimson; and his spouse Fern Gimson. He is survived by: his parent Jessie Gimson; his child Derek Gimson (Christine); his grandchildren, Heather, Crystal (Andrew) and Cory (Tiffany); and his great grandchildren, Emily, Khloe, Hunter, Maximus, Samantha, Jackson, Isabella and Karaline.
