She was predeceased by : her brother-in-law David Battersby (Janet). She is survived by : her husband John Battersby; her children, Heather Morwood (Earl), Chris Battersby (Laurie), Jennifer Lee (Bill Pigram) and Peter Battersby (Georgie); her grandchildren, Karen, Craig (Tory), Meghan (Keith), Shawn, Jenna, Jeffrey (Brittnee), Ryan (Victoria), Lydia (Adam), Garrett, Spencer and Connor; her great grandchildren, Amelia, Avant, Alivia, Zachary, Emily and Mason; and her siblings-in-law, Anne Ewaschuk (Harry) and Geoffrey Battersby (Gwynne).

In light of COVID-19, a small private service will be held for immediate family only.

As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Children's Hospital - London Health Sciences Centre.
