Though Alastair may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene MacDonald; his children, Iain MacDonald (Tammy MacDonald) and Catherine Hamilton (Don Hamilton); and his grandchildren, Trevor (Megan), Shannon, Kalei (Justin), Finlay, Josh (Jillian), Julia, Jade, Jake and Cali (Greg). He is also survived by his four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Turner & Porter - Neweduk - Erin Mills Chapel (1981 Dundas St W, Mississauga, ON L5K1R2).
