He was predeceased by: his wife Estelle Roy (Dupuis); his parents, Emile Roy and Marie Blanche Meilleur; his daughter Christine Dickie (Roy); and his siblings, Oscar Roy, Rose Lamarche, Odile Langlois, Ovila Roy, Dan Roy, Jean Baptiste Roy, Albini Roy, Cecile Viau, Theresa Brunet, Armand Roy, Alice Sauve and Beatrice Crawford.
He is survived by: his siblings, Venance Roy and Rejeanne Brennan.
