He was predeceased by: his parents, Roméo Lortie and Laurieanna Lortie; his wife Sharon Lawrence; and his siblings, Gaetan, Claire, Robert and Raymond (Denise).

He is survived by: his children, Denis (Carole) and Carole Levesque (Jean-Marc); his stepchildren, Donald, Roger, Debbie, Sandra and Billy; and his grandchildren, Daniel, Cassandra, Normand, Sydney, Tyler, Kaitlin, Hayden, Hazel, Troy, Ryder, Haylee and Mikaela.
