She was predeceased by: her parents, Veino Penttila and George Penttila; and her spouse Arvo. She is survived by: her sons, Ken (Eileen) and Alan (Angèle); her grandson Darryl (Gabriela); her great grandchildren, Sophie and Agatha; and her niece Linda.
