It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Jeannie Leger of Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, who passed away at the age of 98, on December 8, 2023. She was predeceased by : her parents, Jessie Cochrane and John Cochrane; her husband Patrick Léger; her children, Patricia Giroux (Alcide), Walter and Robert; her sons-in-law, John Gauvreau and David Amyotte; and her sisters, Jesse Blackley, Mary Scott Tommy and Agnes Ross.
She is survived by : her children, Margaret Gauvreau, Joan Léger, Helen Léger (Mark Dally), Laurette Duguay (Yvon) and Denis Léger (Susan); and her daughter-in-law Vigi Léger. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Jeannie has requested that donations be made to the West Nipissing Legion, branch 225.
