He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred McQuabbie and Simone Galipeau; and his brothers, Steve McQuabbie, Gary Fader (Valerie) and Michael Fader (Christine).

He is survived by: his wife Rose McQuabbie. He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren and by his many nieces and nephews.
