The memory of Leona Lichty of Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, who passed away on May 18, 2024 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Simon and Laura; her husband Noah; her siblings, Arthur, Ray, Nyle, Glen, Clare, Elverne, Simon Jr., Ellen (Messner) and Erma (Tucker); and her in-laws, Roy Tucker, Glen Cole, Bob Boettger, Joan Schwartzentruber, Gale Stewart and Pauline Schwartzentruber.
She is survived by: her children, Philip (Sharon), Laura Karelse (Peter) and Julie Hjelte (Dean); her siblings, Wayne (Debbie), Reta Baker (Vern), Ruth Boettger and Arlene Naumann (Greg); and her sisters-in-law, Jean Schwartzentruber, Janet Schwartzentruber and Noella Schwartzentruber. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren, and her 17 great-grandchildren, many nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews and great-great nieces & nephews.
