We are sad to announce that, on January 6, 2020, at the age of 100, Margaret Bourassa (Sturgeon Falls, Ontario), born in Brantford, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband René Bourassa; her siblings, Hazel Smith, Ilda Rushton, Jack, Harry and Fred Morrissey; and her parents, John Morrissey and Sarah Morrissey.

She is survived by: her children, Michelle (Dennis O'Connor), Paul (Elaine Fudge) of North Bay, Yvette (Victor Saccucci) of Aurora, Annette (George Wilson) of Toronto and Marcie (Felix Mora) of Richmond Hill; her grandchildren, Natalie, Rémi-Paul, Sean, Neal, Jasmine, Jean-Pierre, Paul-André, Michael, Katherine, Rebecca and John; her stepgrandchildren, Eduardo and Igor; and her sisters-in-law, Rachel Jaski and Janine Bourassa. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Southlake Residential Care Village in Newmarket would be appreciated.

Unfortunately, we have lost touch with all of you since Rene's death but we have thought of you many times and hoped you were all doing well. We last saw Rene and Marg up in Sturgeon around 2008. I have shared the pictures of your mother with Sarah and Karl. She looked remarkable for her age. If the funeral does take place later this month, we will try to attend.
