It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mercedes Yapps of Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, who passed away on January 27, 2024, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Julius Yapps; her parents, Florimond Laframboise and Regina Laframboise; and her siblings, Florence Leach (Henri), Idèse Quesnel (Emile), Florent Laframboise (Ruby) and Marcel Laframboise (Marie-Reine).
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Lee Ann, Jessica, Kevin, Holly, Graeme, Marielle, Mitchell and Spencer; and her great grandchildren, Danika, Tristan, Sebastion, Benjamyn, Camille and Vincent. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations to The Alzheimer's Society, West Nipissing General Hospital or OSPCA would be appreciated.
