He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Violette and Marie Violette of Sturgeon Falls; his spouse Simone of Sudbury; and his siblings, Madeleine Violette, Lucien Violette and Aline Potvin (Lucien Potvin) of Sturgeon Falls.

He is survived by: his friend Frank Zanini.
