He was loved and cherished by many people including: his adoptive parents, Fred McLeod and Kathleen (Stevens); his parent Donelda Kahgee (Romaine); his wife Barbara Popkie; and his siblings, Glenna Beaucage (late Ralph), Freda Martel (Luc), Bruce (Danielle), Jeff (Gail) and Neil (Justine). He was also cherished by his many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Holy Spirit Church (285 Ted Commanda Dr, West Nipissing, ON P2B3K2). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
