With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert George Vaillancourt of Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 30, 2025 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his son Guy Vaillancourt; his parents, Hormidas Vaillancourt and Bertha Vaillancourt; and his sisters, Thérèse (late Léonard Piette) and Constance (late Johnny Roy).
He is survived by: his spouse Madleine Vaillancourt; his children, Diane Vaillancourt and Brian Vaillancourt; his grandchildren, Roch, Sophie, Calvin, Montana and Lucas; and his sister Alma Gelinas.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Sacre Coeur Church (144 Main St, Sturgeon Falls, ON P2B1N7). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
