He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo and Stella; and his siblings, Coreen Aubertine (late Jim) and Alexander "Cigar". He is survived by: his significant other Lisa Miner; his children, Erin Lariviere (Royale), Carrie Commanda, Jason Commanda, Wesley Pidgeon (Tamara), Matthew Pidgeon, Jesse Brown and Jordanna Hatch (Brandyn); his grandchildren, Starliegh, Mason, Tyson, Dawson, Everitt, Ethan and Logan; and his siblings, Sheila Lariviere, Glen (late Jean), James (Karen), Shirley Southwind (Lloyd), Darlene Dokis (Tom), Johnny (Sherry), Ginger Penasse (Raymond) and Dale (Ferlin).
Visitation was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Spirit Church (285 Ted Commanda Dr, Sturgeon Falls, ON P2B3K2).
