Stanley McCarthy Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stanley McCarthy (Sturgeon Falls, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 1, 2026 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Stanley McCarthy to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter and Isabelle; and his children, Carmel McCarthy and Terry. He is survived by: his spouse Gervance; his children, Claude (Deborah Gauthier) and Glen; his grandchildren, Cole, Shannon, Leah, Brittany, Lisa, Kelly, Amber and Taylor; and his sister Veronica McCarthy. He is also survived by his many great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 6th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Theoret Bourgeois Funeral Home (119 King St, Sturgeon Falls, ON P2B1R2). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Theoret Bourgeois Funeral Home Chapel (119 King St, Sturgeon Falls, ON P2B1R2).
