She was predeceased by: her husband Esko; her parents, Sulo and Elsa; her siblings, Aslak, Lahja, Sulo, Taino, Veikko, Helinä, Esko and Raili; and her great grandchild Maila.
She is survived by: her children, Merja, Risto (Geralynn) and Kathy Higgins (Mark); her grandchildren, Jennifer, Stephen (Marcie), Declan and Finn; and her brother Osmo. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
