She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest Chevrier; her parents, George Kari and Evelina Kari; and her siblings, Mauno Kari (Flora) and Harold Kari.
She is survived by: her children, David, Allan (Connie) and Miriam (Mike); her grandchildren, Sarah (Brett), Becky (Trevor), Leah (Jay), Joshua (Kate), Vanessa (Jason) and Steve; and her sibling Lauri Kari (late Elaine). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home (233 Larch St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3E3E1). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the R. J. Barnard Chapel (233 Larch St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3E3E1).
