He was predeceased by: his father Mike; his stepmother Olga; his birth mother Helen; his parents-in-law, Bill and Jessie Frizell; his cousin Dennis (Joan); and his sibling-in-law Beverly Lawson.
He is survived by: his wife Joan (Frizell); his children, Dave (Heather), Lori Bot (Jim) and Mike (Tara); his grandchildren, Jennifer, Kevin, Christopher, Claudia, Carissa, Jayden and Charla; his sister Ruth Nelson (late Eddie); his siblings-in-law, Marion Durigon (Gino), Barb Frizell and Bill Frizell; his godson Kevin Carvell; and his friends, Jim and Lorraine Carvell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
