She was predeceased by: her father Fredrick Nahwegahbow; her grandmothers, Rhonda Recollet and Norma Assinwai; her sibling Shantle Wemigwans; and her aunts and uncles, Ruby Mandamin, Ralph Nahwegahbo, Tim Nahwegahbo, John Nahwegahbo, Joshua Nahwegahbo and Cher Olchuk.
She is survived by: her children, Jay'R, Joshua and Sheila; her mother Melanie Recollet-Simon (late Kirk Simon); her grandfathers, John Recollet and Joseph Nahwegahbow; her siblings, Florence Recollet, Skyler Nahwegahbow (Samantha), Shaun Recollet, Matthew Recollet, Alexandrea Wemigwans (Rene), Zachary Shawana and Dakota Wemigwans; her nieces and nephews, Taylor, Aaron (Katryna), Drake, Isaiah, Tahliah, Miranda, Francine, Olivia, Maria, Ethan, Carter, Logan, Paris, Mariah, Zayden and Treyton; her godparents, Doreen Trudeau and Leonard Neganegijig; and her aunts and uncles, Mellissa Recollet, Alison Recollet, Rudy Mandamin, Pichi Mandamin, Peter Nahwegahbo, Florence Nahwegahbo and Sybil Eadie (Bill).
