He was predeceased by: his parents, Armaldo Cecchetto and Mary Cecchetto; and his sister Pauline (Ken Russell). He is survived by: his wife Lynn Cecchetto; his children, Carrie Ann, Brent and Christopher (Liane); his grandchildren, Jessica, Keyara, Samantha, Isabella, Makenzie, Marco, Bisnonno, Bennett, Bowen, Julius and Eva; his siblings, John (Susanne), Tom (Judy) and Lenora (Gary Sunstrum); and his children, Bailey, Malenkyy, Hudson, Zoe and Phoebe. He is also survived by his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to Diabetes Canada.
