We are sad to announce that on November 22, 2025, at the age of 92, Archie MacDonald (Sudbury, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his children, Marylynne MacDonald and Joey MacDonald; his parents, Joseph MacDonald and Marybelle MacDonald; and his siblings, Mary Anne and Ronald.

He is survived by: his wife Joan MacDonald (Boyko); his children, Patti Mathes (Fred), Lorry MacDonald, Colleen Bronicheski (Daniel), Sharon Laaksonen (Brent) and Cathy Piro (Felice); and his siblings, Sandy of Cape Breton, John (Jane) of Hamilton and Angus (Betty) of Grimsby.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Andrew the Apostle Church (1250 Barry Downe Rd, Sudbury, ON P3A3V7). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
