He is survived by: his wife Thelma Gilchrist; his children, Shelley (John), Susie and Peter (Margaret); his granddaughters, Samantha, Amanda, Leeanne, Jenna, Kayleigh and Taylor; and his siblings, Sadie, Reg (Linda), Max (Dianne), Bob (Sharon) and Mark (Angel).
