She was predeceased by: her mother Hilija Paivinen; and her sister Laila Farenga. She is survived by: her spouse Juhani Salomaa; her children, Olli (Cheryl) and Kari (Erin); her siblings-in-law, Tapani Salomaa, Sirkka Salomaa, Ullia Hirsimaki, Timo Salomaa (Kaija) and Ilpo Salomaa (Riitta); and her friends, Finland and Sweden. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
