She was predeceased by: her parents, Gertrude Bucher and Heinrich Bucher; her husband Ernst Sr.; her siblings, Anni Beck and Mathias Bucher; and her daughter-in-law Denese Berken.
She is survived by: her brothers, Heinrich Buecher (Maria) and Hans Buecher (Ilka); her children, Ernst Berken Jr. and Iris Wells (Bruce); her grandchildren, Ryon Wells (Sheena) and Barbara Lynn Belanger (Luke); and her great grandchildren, Hannah, Hayden Wells, Hazel and Clem Belanger. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, our family has requested a donation to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada.
