Barbara Muncaster Obituary

We announce the death of Barbara Muncaster (Sudbury, Ontario), who passed away on July 19, 2026. Barbara will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Muncaster (Dick); her son Gordon; her daughter-in-law Cathy Muncaster; her parents, Lizzy Smith and Harry Smith; and her siblings, Gladys, Aileen, Olga, Toots and Harry.

She is survived by: her children, Janis Thurber (late John), Barry (Valorie) and Paul (Julia); her grandchildren, Trish Jackson (William), Sarah Rhude (Chad), Grant Muncaster (Alecia), Ashley Davis (Jaime), Carla Delabbio (Anthony), Lesley Ketchabaw (Jordan), Bethany Muncaster and Shaphan Muncaster; her great grandchildren, Layla, Maddy Muncaster, Madi Jackson, Fia, Dawson Delabbio, Emily and Liam McGuckin; and her niece Bonnie Carlson.
