We are sad to announce that on January 18, 2023, at the age of 81, Bernard Vaillancourt in Sudbury, Ontario passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bernard Vaillancourt to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hervé Vaillancourt-Gervais and Annette Vaillancourt-Gervais; his parents-in-law, Horace and Agnès Marcotte; his son Jean-Marc; and his siblings, Huguette Beaulieu (late Victor), Hélène Hull (George) and Jean-Claude (May Boivin).

He is survived by: his significant other Claudette; his children, Elaine Witzke, Carol-Ann Trapasso-Gervais, Anne Castonguay (Denis) and Rachel Sookoo (Anthony); his great grandchildren, Ella, Emmett and Renelle; and his brother Gilles Gervais (Cathy Crossan). He is also survived by many stepbrothers, stepsisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.

Donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society or the Sudbury Diabetes Association.
