Cécile (Trahan) Laforge Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cécile (Trahan) Laforge in Sudbury, Ontario, who passed away on October 11, 2025 at the age of 77. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Cécile (Trahan) Laforge to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her granddaughter Émilie; her parents, Joachim Trahan and Lucille Trahan; and the father of her children Jean-Claude Laforge. She is survived by: her children, Monique Laforge-Bennett (Greg) and Charles Laforge (Melissa); her grandchildren, Paige, Karissa, Marah, Maïya, Blaise and Pearle; her sisters, Lorraine Rheault (René), Jeannine Guillemette (Jean-Marie) and Joanne Guillemette (Robert); and her close friend Lucie. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephew, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home (150 Balsam St S, Timmins, ON P4N2E2). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St-Joseph Church (567 Eyre Blvd, Timmins, ON P4N2E2). A reception will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
It is Cécile's wish, for which she will be eternally grateful, that in lieu of flowers or donations, masses be said in her memory for the repose of her soul.
