Claire Farnel Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Claire Farnel (Sudbury, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 12, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Claire shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Claire farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Martin and Pearl Martin; her sister Diane Dumais (Vic); and her in-laws, Joyce Dickson (Jim), Russ Farnel (late Christine) and Dan Farnel (Heather).

She is survived by: her husband Edgar Farnel; her daughter Tara Yaw; her granddaughter Kylie Masiero (Malcolm); and her great grandchild Rowan.
