Claudette Chénier Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Claudette Chénier (Sudbury, Ontario), who passed away on September 16, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Hermini Leclair and Gilberte Leclair (Laurin); her close friend Garry Bradley; her grandchildren, Véronique, Marie-Claude, Claudia Chénier, Réjean and Josée Vaillancourt; and her great grandchildren, Nash Dorion Vaillancourt and Elliott Doganieri.

She is survived by: her children, Jean-Claude Chénier (Anne-Marie Petit), Corinne Chénier and Ginette Chénier (late André Vaillancourt); her siblings, Claude Leclair (Rita) of Chelmsford, Don Leclair (Claire), Diane Leclair, Normand Leclair and Denis Leclair (Joyce); her goddaughters, Chantal and Joni Dee; Gérard Chénier and Ron Topolniski. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lougheed Funeral Home (252 Regent St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3C4C8).
